CNC Internal Gear Shaping

Our Fellows FS630-200 CNC Internal Gear Shaper brings CNC internal gear cutting capability to Australia for the very first time. This new machine can cut internal gears up to 650mm in diameter and 200mm face width. The machine possesses a hydrostroke, hydromechanical stroking system, a CNC system designed for gear processing, and adaptive controls which continuously optimise key machine functions for peak cutting efficiency. This new system will provide dramatic increases in productivity and tool life with significant part quality advances when compared with conventional crank-driven gear shapers. On suitable work projected productivity may increase up to 100%, and tool life by as much as 250%. Part quality levels to DIN 6 (AGMA 11) can also be expected.
